Tanuj Apte is a veteran web agency owner and digital strategist who has spent his career helping small and mid-sized businesses build high-performing online presences. In the post-COVID shift toward an internet-first economy, he began to notice a troubling trend: well-intentioned business owners facing ADA-related lawsuits simply because they were unaware that web accessibility compliance even applied to them.

Seeing this as a systemic education gap rather than an enforcement problem, Tanuj founded Access Heroes to bring clarity, accessibility, and accountability to the SMB web ecosystem. By providing free consultations, practical education, and actionable resources, Access Heroes empowers businesses to become accessible digital entities—expanding equitable access to information, services, and commerce for millions of users with disabilities.
